In 2011 Northwest Motorsports presents the Spokane Festival of Speed, featuring 2 major road racing events and a wide variety of support activities.  The first major event will be a vintage automobile race sanctioned by SOVREN, the Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts.  SOVREN hosts a series of vintage automobile races in the Northwest, including the Phil Smart Pacific Northwest Historics Vintage Races in Seattle, with participants from all parts of the country.  The Spokane Festival of Speed vintage race and all its supporting activities will be held June 3-5.

The second race in the 2011 Spokane Festival of Speed will be the Northwest Grand Prix, sanctioned by the International Conference of Sports Car Clubs.  The ICSCC sanctions a series of Championship road races in Washington, Oregon, California and British Columbia.  The first Northwest Grand Prix was held at the Deer Park airport in 1959 and has been a staple of the ICSCC racing series, with participants attending from throughout the Northwest.  The Northwest Grand Prix and all support events will be held July 14-17.
