Spokane Festival of Speed

at Spokane County Raceway

The Spokane Festival of Speed is a cooperative of Northwest Motorsports (NWMS) and the Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts (SOVREN), organized to present the finest road racing events in the Inland Northwest. From the pristine and valuable racers of the glory days of American road racing competing in SOVREN’s Historic Races, to the newest, fastest, high-tech formula cars and ground pounders of today in NWMS’ Northwest Grand Prix, history and modern science truly meet at the Spokane Festival of Speed.

The first major event in 2012 is the Porsche of Spokane Historics Races sanctioned by SOVREN, the Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts.  SOVREN hosts a series of vintage automobile races in the Northwest, including the Phil Smart Pacific Northwest Historics Vintage Races in Seattle, with participants from all parts of the country.  For more information Click here to go to the Spokane Fesival of Speed official website.

The second event in 2012 will take place on July 13-15. The O'Reilly Auto Parts Northwest Grand Prix will bring the high-pitched whine and ground-pounding rumble of the finest and fasted road racing cars in the Northwest to Spokane. The new track configuration at The Spokane County Raceway attracts a largest number of the fastest and finest road racers from all around the Northwest.  And the new spectator-friendly environment will make the three days of racing a truly fun and enjoyable event for the entire family.
